Just in time for school to start again, Workshop Players opens it’s 70th Anniversary Season with something for the whole family! Highlighted by catchy songs, particularly funny dialogue and a whole lot of heart, You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown fully embodies the sweet, joyful innocence of childhood. We hope you will consider joining us this fall as Workshop Players and the Peanuts gang bring a high-energy, fun-filled fresh approach to an average day in the life of Charlie Brown and discover the true meaning of happiness along the way.

PERFORMANCE DATES: September 7 (Thursday @ 7:30 PM), 8, 9, 15, 16, 17, 22, 23, 24 – 2017 Fridays & Saturdays at 7:30 PM, Sundays at 3 PM
OPEN CALL – NO APPOINTMENTS NECESSARY. Auditioners need only attend one evening, any time between 7 & 9 PM. Please prepare 16-32 bars of a song in the style of the show – with sheet music in the correct key. Accompanist provided. No CD’s or a Capella auditions, please. As always, theatrical resumes and headshots are appreciated, but not required.
Rehearsals will begin on or about Sunday, July 23, 2017, and will typically run Monday through Thursday evenings and Sunday afternoons – based on cast availability. Not all cast members will be called at every rehearsal. Please bring a complete list of schedule conflicts from July 23 through September 24, 2017. No conflicts will be accepted for any performance dates or during tech week. Please note: preliminary vocal rehearsals may be held in the Independence, Ohio area.
ALL ROLES AVAILABLE. Seeking a high-energy, charismatic and versatile ensemble of six adults (Age 18+) to bring life, personality and most importantly, heart to Charlie Brown, Lucy Van Pelt, Sally Brown, Linus Van Pelt, Schroeder, and of course, Snoopy.
Workshop Players Theatre-in-the-Round is committed to non-traditional casting. Except in cases where race, gender, age, or disability is essential to the show, all roles will be cast on the basis of talent.
